I had a friend get married over New Years and they made their own photo booth using a very similar technique (backdrop covered in black and white demask wall (or wrapping) paper with a bunch of frames and cutouts). They also put a couch in front of it, so it made for lots of different, fun shots. It was quite interesting. Something that would definitely work for you guys and would be a lot of fun for your guests. They also had accessories (hats, ties, jewelry, masks, pipes, scarves, tons of stuff) to make it more fun too.
